Because for a song to be considered for Best Original Song at the Oscars, it needs to be written specifically for the film. "Crazy in Love" nor "Haunted" was not written for the film as they appear on her albums.

I was thinking this. Why make both of them compete and get only one (AOTY) Grammy when Bey could get it this year and then Adele next year.
I hope one of the new songs which she records for 50SOG gets an Oscar, she's worked very hard for it.

I hope Beyonce 6th album goes 31 so she can break the record and make another one like she did with the grammy awards
