I don't get how NCT bombed so hard as far as public recognition goes. 19k for 7th Sense and unreported for Without You cause it's too low to even chart. Fire Truck doesn't seem to be doing any better.
I mean, GOT7's debut did 180k and they're synonymous with digital flop

SHINee and EXO are both strong digitally for boy groups, and they are the two groups preceding NCT.
Comparatively, when GOT7 started out, JYP was crumbling and had poor relevancy. So them outselling NCT by 9 times with that tragic debut seems iffy to me.
It seems like GOT7 is in competition with every new boy group that sprouts up.
You wouldn't even guess they were expected to be in league with EXO before they actually debuted.
