I really don't know why people stalk and harass celebrities. It can't be that hard to realize that underneath their showbiz persona, they are a really person and they are allowed to have their times as real people versus as celebrities. Like people who ask for autographs while someone famous is dining or shopping for example.

I think because of their line work (especially musicians) people feel like they know them on a personal level, and therefore feel a personal attachment. Idk for sure though since I've never felt the need to stalk someone.

Paparazzi has gotten better over the years though. They dont make as much money as they used to now that everyone has camera phones and can snap a video or a selfie of someone famous or something crazy. Everyone is their own paparazzi nowadays.
