I was disappointed with most releases this year tbh, tho personally I have to give kudos to Ayu (whom I normally despise), because Colours was a solid record and made me look into her past efforts once more. Kuu delivered, as usual. No comment on the others. Overall, it's been a sloppy year for J-pop artistically and sales wise. Here's to hope 2015 will be greatly different with the returns of Queens such as Crystal Kay, Utada Hikaru and Akina Nakamori.

Personally I think jongshic's rates should be trashed since he's openly admitted he doesn't like Japanese music other than that made by Koreans, so him and Rafi are clearly in cahoots and biasing the rate in favour of E-Girls.

It felt weird not giving Ayumi a 10, but then it's not a surprise when Terminal wasn't included.

I gave 4 tens, but one of those was probably a REALLY big mistake since it'll probably win. It kinda deserved it though, ugh.
