19,115,523 popular votes so far for the top 4 GOP candidates, compared to 14,571,015 for the top two Democrats.
I honestly think this shows that reports of the GOP race being record breaking and bringing in new voters are exaggerated - they're more inspiring people to come to vote against Trump, since he has less than 40% of the GOP popular vote.
It's one of the most liberal states in the union. And because it's pretty white (though I will say that this time around the nonwhite population will be about 40%). I'm not from NY so it'll be hard for me to say but if it's anything like PA (like OH was, how DE will be, and MD) then Bernie won't win it. He could possibly come close, which I also doubt, but he won't win.
65% of the state of New York are White
17% of the state of New York are Latino
15% of the state of New York are Black
7% (other)
7% of the state of New York are Asian
My brain and gut are telling me that Trump will win the presidency even if he has to run as an independent.
Nope. I don't see it happening at all.
Honestly, he could win the popular vote, but he won't turn a single blue state and won't win Florida or Ohio. Electorally, a Trump victory is just not feasible at all. Democrats will turn out in droves to stave off him and his supporters.
Bernie just sounds so damn stubborn and selfish by staying in this thing. He's continuing to steal money from unsuspecting, politically dim young Americans who can barely afford to live each month, much less give money to a dead campaign. He's looking like a very greedy man right now.

Thanks for the stats. I kinda just based 40% from what I knew previously but looking at this, the number of nonwhites might be lower out of those who vote in the democratic primary (but still bigger than 31% from 2008)

All she has to do is carry New York City which Sanders won't win. It's as simple as that.
