I wouldn't go as far as to say she's hanging by a thread. Do you watch much women's tennis? Serena at her worst is still better than the majority of the tour

Yeah, since 2004. Her 1st serve is just a work of God tbh. She only LOSES to people who can read her serves well, ala Ivanovic in 2014, and aggressive counter punchers. But we both know Ivanovic is a cheap brand for a tent, and folds all the time.

Yep. It's Serena's serve. Once she faces a good returner, she struggles tremendously.

Federer loves the game, and knows he can take advantage of this incredibly weak era, the same one that has allowed Djokovic to remain at the No. 1 for so long despite his regression. Federer also knows that he can still beat the World No. 1, as he did twice last year and over whom he held a head-to-head lead in 2014, so why should he retire? Djokovic's father seems quite threatened. You don't see Djokovic Sr. say this about Nadal -- we all know his career is now a lost cause. This quote is an indirect admission on the part of the Djokovic camp that should give Federer even more reason to continue playing. I think Djokovic would prefer Federer to retire soon to allow him to best the great Swiss' records, which, as long as Federer continues to destroy the field (including Mr. World No. 1), will not be broken.

YES! Tricky match. Azarenka saved two set points in the first set.
Pliskova's serve was amazing in the first set. Azarenka's was terrible throughout. Over 10 double faults.

Biggest final since 2013 US Open -- and as fate has it, she will face the same opponent: Serena.
Hope for a great match and an Azarenka win.
