Whenever I listen to Pour It Up, I imagine a Beez In The Trap-esque video

I'm here for a spring rerelease of Unapologetic, and it better be named apologetic and all the current shenanigans would come to an end.

Pour It Up is so unique. You will NOT find any woman singer doing a beat like that. And Nicki Minja ain't doing it.

Dont mind everywhere else but in US it has already peaked and still yet to cross 2M. It's a bit sad. It will probably leave the charts at 2.5-2.7M which doubles the sadness

Yes. There is enough material on the album.
At this point she can release whatever - Numb, PIU, Lov7 Song, Jump, What Now, Stay, NB, Right Now, Lost in Paradise, LWT extended remix and even POTR/NLA are radio friendly.

OK, let me take y'all bitches to college, and give y'all bitches some knowledge tell y'all what Rih should do for maximum slayage this era. I'm hoping that she's learned that Loud and TTT could've been huge eras.
Lead Single: "Diamonds"
Released: September 2012
Peak: #1 (obviously)
This is the actual lead single, so of course we know what has happened over the past few months.
MV: The same.
2nd Single: "Stay"
Released: January 2013
Peak: Top 5 (if performed at the Grammy's), top 10 otherwise
This has already been confirmed as the 2nd single. While it's been seen that PIU, NB, and L7S have gotten higher airplay, I feel this could become a big radio hit (with a simple radio remix, y'know, adding a few drums or whatever), and a really big digital seller.
MV: A very simple video. Rihanna, in a really long and pretty black dress, sits on top of the piano. During her verse (and Mikky during his verse), they explore an old, expensive looking room. During the bridge, they meet at opposite ends of a mirror, and touch hands. He (or his "reflection") disappears, and Rihanna runs out of the old room, onto the bottom end of a long staircase, singing the final chorus.
3rd Single: "Right Now"
Released: April 2013
Peak: Top 5
While this song does "regress" from the serious aspect of "Diamonds" and "Stay", it's a serious club banger. I feel it'd have a performance similar to WHYB, big on radio, but decent digitally.
MV: Very colorful, similar to "Who's That Chick". She's at a weird, black and white club. After exploring a little bit, the song starts. When she starts singing, she's the only one in color, but as the song progresses, more color is added to the club. During each post-chorus breakdown, there are lots of fast effects such as colors randomly being inverted, ans strobe-lights. During the bridge, she flirts with a guy on some platform, before throwing him off. It is revealed that he was thrown into the crowd, and everyone dances to the final chorus.
4th Single: "Nobody's Business"
Released: August 2013
Peak: #1
This song will be a success just based on the fact that it's Rih and Chris. We all remember how BC got to #24 on the Hot 100 without promo, a music video, and without the remix being released to iTunes. (the 1:18 snippet is platinum, actually )
MV: Just them dancing throughout the streets of NYC.
5th Single: "Jump"
Released: November 2013
Peak: Top 7
This isn't a very typical club song. However, it does have the ability to smash. I feel it'll be a really big digital seller.
MV: Rihanna's at a grimy rave. It's similar to Christina's "Dirrty" video. Mud everywhere, Rih riding a mechanical bull, people sweating everywhere. During the post-chorus breakdowns, it shows Rih performing the song, with shots of the crowd moshing.
6th Single: "Loveeeeeee Song"
Released: February 2014
Peak: Top 15
This song has shown that it can be a big urban hit (not as big as PIU/NB, but whatever). I feel it could also do pretty good on pop. I feel this would be a moderate digital seller.
MV: Kworb had a really good idea:
Quote:
My concept for the Loveeeeeee Song video is that Rihanna as a human being is living in a futuristic home with a robot lover (Future). Throughout the day she spends her time with him in a seemingly normal relationship, but she has a remote control and other ways to modify his behavior. At the end of the video they are in bed together and Future kind of powers down, with Rihanna looking extremely lonely and a tear rolling down her cheek.
|
Final Single: "Lost In Paradise"
Released: May 2014
Peak: Top 10
This isn't exactly the safest dance song, but it's obviously a very commercial song. This would do like WHYB.
MV: Set in an island setting, she falls in love with a obvious bad boy. When he abandons her one day, she breaks down in the forest, and than comes back stronger. In the end, she comes back stronger. She sees him at a club, and makes a fool out of him.
Well?

Beautiful.
This song needed to be a solo song.
I think with PIU already slaying urban and rhythmic they need to send it out for adds over there and "Stay" to Pop and HAC & AC. Then Nobody's business as the third pop/rhythmic/urban single and take it from there. I really hope"Stay" does slay I think the feature might hinder it but we'll see.
