Ohh, I gotcha. Yeah, I hope so, too. She's enlisted a lot of pop producers for this record, it seems like (Sia, Max Martin, Ryan Tedder), but she's also got a lot of collaborators that are more her style. I don't really know what to expect. But I highly doubt she's going to go all pop.

I wish we had gotten a more specific sound description back at the Oscars. "A bit rawer than 21", "another sort of style"...what could that even mean (if she hasn't changed her mind since then)? Adele coming with the rap album of the century?

Yeah, that's the scary thing. We can't even believe what she says because she changes her mind constantly.... (She really wasn't lying about that "fickle heart" of hers in "Don't You Remember.") I don't know what to expect, to be honest. I just hope she sticks to the soulful sound that her first two albums have because I think that suits her voice best, and that's what has made her such a successful artist. She evokes pain through her voice so easily, and that's something that few singers can successfully accomplish. Even if she sings happier stuff, she does a great job conveying emotion in her vocals, and I think that's partially why people resonate so well with her stuff.
