Yet another review that basically says that Florence is still singing the same things..., and yet when you go to Youtube you get all these fans disappointed about how Florence has changed her soung and become more 'pop' and less mystical. I mean, what the hell is this trend?

Seems to me that the hope that this album would get higher critical acclaim than Ceremonials isn't going to happen. Those critics that wish Florence was something she isn't aren't ever going to be mollified with her and her songs. Its sad and annoying.

there is so much variety in all three albums it really doesnt make any sense

Florence + the Machine are back in fine form with their third album ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’. This foray shows a more subdued & introspective side of Florence. At times subtle, interlaced with angsty tension & cascading in to heightened moments of orchestral majesty. Another classic from Florence Welch & the band.

They all sound so different, I can't understand the criticism at all. I can get if people say that a lot of songs on Ceremonials sound the same, or that a lot of songs on HBHBHB follow the same patterns, but neither of them sound a thing like each other not to mention Lungs: the bipolar collection of years worth of material.

Hey look, if they were giving a legit opinion (some of the songs are too boring or I miss the old Florence), something like that, I'd disagree but understand their opinion. But when it's something stupid like saying it sounds like her old work, I can't accept that as an opinion lol
