I'm loving how Wii games can be played directly with the Wii U gamepad instead of having to bust out a Wii controller tho.

Girl...that's not possible. You have to use the Wii remotes if you're playing a Wii game. The gamepad can be used as a screen instead of using your TV, but it cannot replace the wiimote.

Gurl. I was literally playing Pandora's Tower on my Wii U just there without a single Wii remote to be seen

You use the right analog stick to move a cursor around in replace of pointing the Wii remote at the screen

It probably only works that way if it's not a motion control heavy game like Mario Galaxy where you have to constantly waggle the wii remote.

The Wii/DS era was so amazing in terms of sales, but the fact they made you use the stylus/Wii mote controls was just tragic omg
