Sound Check | April 12-18
For the week of April 12 - 18, 2015
Click on the screen-cap of the video to play the video.
This week on the Sound Check countdown, The Weeknd looks to start the party early as "Earned It" seeks a third week at #1. Ellie Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do" is also aiming for a fifth week at the top. Will the countdown reciprocate her feelings? In one of the tightest races in this countdown's history, will either of the previous charttoppers reach the apex again, or can another artist jump out from the wings and grab the top spot? Fetty Wap, Flo Rida, and Natalie La Rose have all scored top five hits with their current singles, while Walk The Moon had an impressive return to the top ten two weeks ago. Can either of those four artists give The Weeknd or Ellie Goulding a run for their money?
Find out who's got this week's #1 video, plus Ciara returns with her lead single from Jackie, while Tinashe and Wiz Khalifa score debuts with their most recent hits. It's all here on the Sound Check Top 20 Video Countdown.
1. Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars, "Uptown Funk" (6x)
2. Hozier, "Take Me To Church"
3. Ed Sheeran, "Thinking Out Loud"
4. Ellie Goulding, "Love Me Like You Do" (2x)
5. Maroon 5, "Sugar" (2x)
6. The Weeknd, "Earned It" (2x)
7. Natalie La Rose ft. Jeremih, "Somebody"

Your vote pushed Tove into the top five last week. She was borderline for a top 10 spot before She came through again this week

That what I was hoping with the 40 song list! I've been thinking of adding more voting spots, but I kind of like the challenge of picking only ten. It's made the countdown more diverse, I find.
