So I'm toying with the idea of a points-based game where each round the players get two decisions which affect the outcome of the game, decisions like who gets eliminated, who gets points, etc. The twist would be that after a choice is chosen from these "branches", the players can choose to go back and take the other option. I think it would be cool, it just has to get some shape to it. If anyone has some ideas for it, let's talk!

- New seasons: If you already host a game but want to start a new season, you still need to get approval, but to make it easier, you don't have to list the rules or anything, you can just say "i'd like to start a new season" and get approval faster.

Okay, I'm ready to get Mario Party approved. I want to start it next Saturday, the 15th.

Rules

Whether you have or haven't played an actual Mario Party game, this should be really easy to understand. It's a pretty simple game. Each player picks a character from the Mario series (Mario, Luigi, Peach, etc.), then moves around a board collecting stars while playing min-games and getting coins.

During sign-ups, each player will choose their character. There’s a total of 15 to choose from.

Mini-games will determine how many spaces each player moves.

Position - Spaces

1st – 10 spaces
2nd – 9 spaces
3rd - 8 spaces
4th – 7 spaces
5th – 6 spaces
6th – 5 spaces
7th – 4 spaces
8th – 3 spaces
9th – 3 spaces
10th – 3 spaces
11th – 2 spaces
12th – 2 spaces
13th – 2 spaces
14th – 1 space
15th – 1 space

Players will also receive coins from the mini-games.

Position - Coins

1st – 10 coins
2nd – 8 coins
3rd – 6 coins
4th – 3 coins
5th – 3 coins
6th – 3 coins
7th – 3 coins
8th – 3 coins
9th – 3 coins
10th – 3 coins
11th – 3 coins
12th – 3 coins
13th – 3 coins
14th – 3 coins
15th – 3 coins

Blue spaces – +3 coins.

Red spaces – -3 coins.

Orbs – Each player is given 3 at the start of the game. They can choose to use an orb when they submit their mini-game scores. More can be earned throughout the game.

Event Space – The player that lands on this space will get the chance to earn more coins or orbs by choosing which block to hit. Each block will be randomly assigned a prize.

Bowser Space – This activates a Bowser mini-game, in which all coins are doubled.

Star spaces – 20 coins for a star. Stars randomly switch places on the board after they’ve been obtained. The player with the most stars at the end of the game wins.
