Yes, it definitely has Gaga's blood, sweat, tears and spiritual message embedded within every lyric and sound.
People trash the album on the terms that it was too Monsterfied; influenced by the fans at the Monster Ball and smelt of Gaga's lifestyle. Not to mention the (cleverly-done) history/religious references; "Bloody Mary."
It gives hope and inspires a lot of her fans to do exactly what she set out to do, make them happy. At the end of the day, the album was written and released for her fans, not the general public.
