I don't think she believes she's releasing rock music, she just likes to throw the work "rock" from time to time to show she's still "edgy" or something, but people don't buy it any more. Unless she suddenly abandons pop and goes for a more rock/alt direction, calling herself a "professional rocker" is quite pointless and embarrassing. This is not 2004 and you haven't just released your "rock" album, get ****ing real already.

It's too late for her to take the rock route. I really would have loved if she continued that way for a darker image but now it's just not right anymore.

She should release something accoustic, with raw vocals, something similar to GL music wise but different lyrically. She should release some happy country music mixed up with a little pop/pop rock influence. She really needs good writers, David Hodges, Butch Walker & Max Martin were great but we need someone new, maybe Ryan Tedder or even someone like Sia.

Well, the GP needs to have their attention on her lead single. The best way to do that is to get some a-list collaborations.

Avril needs to wake up and change her calendar from 2007 to 2015.

Avril is much bigger than Selena and Ariana have even been combined. Can't speak for the future but she's still miles bigger than them now. And Don't even compare her to Demi . Demi has always been a B-lister while Avril was a str8 A level act during her peak

I said the same thing about her when AATB started smashing, look at her now, she's having her 4th top 10 in the US, and her success in Oceania is just amazing.

She follows Avril on twitter and she's such a nice person, and they're both signed to Epic, Avril should work with her, she's good at creating catchy hooks. A collab would be amazing
