I just saw the gif of From Justin to Kelly. that movie was terrible. Some songs are okay but the movie just kills it
I'm guilty of liking Eistein and I love it cause of its production and vocals regardless the lyrics. However it cannot be compared to the iconic SUBG. SUBG will always remain iconic and timeless... People will always remember it over Einstein.
In my opinion, I think Kelly's songwriting is pretty decent but it just lacks variety and sometimes comes off as childish for someone her age esp in IFY and Einstein. But then again, who actually listens to the lyrics on the radio? It's all about the boom and beat nowadays
I just feel like she's working with lesser producers as she's making new albums. Theyre not providing her with unique beats, but rather recycled and very 2000ish pop rock sound in the majority of Stronger. Thats why I'm all for the dance-pop, and light electronic-house sound that seems to be current on the radio instead of pop-rock that Kelly is unfortunately seems to be glued to

Even "Stronger" had a synth pop sound that made it a very current song for the radio. The remainder of the album, which I still love and I think would have smashed charts back in 2000s, just seemed dated compared to today's hits.
If she wants longevity, all she needs is a unique beat in her non-first singles. Her vocals are amazing as it is and always carry the song unlike other artists who depend on beats. But this will carry her even further up
