Bruno Mars appeared for an interview on Conan, where he gave an interview before performing the first 30 seconds of "May Night" and the whole "Jungle City" song.
Conan: Next i would like to welcome one of the biggest music sensation of the last 3 years please welcome BRUNO MARS!
*Audience Claps a lot while Bruno enters the room, a few girls scream*
Conan: So Bruno, let's talk about your next single, called "May Nights" which is out on Wednesday, when will you start performing it? Because the crowd went crazy when your performed it at The Today Show and "#BrunoPerformsMayNights" was trending on twitter for the following hour. Will you perform it here?
Bruno: Actually yes! *Audience claps and cheer* But only 30 seconds of it! The performance of it will only be like some kind of intro to "Jungle City". You guys will see!
Conan: I would have loved it if you performed it full! What do you think of your charts performances right now?
Bruno: Well i would have liked "Jungle City" to keep going higher but it's still a Top 10 hit! Not everyone can say they did that! And i already had #1s in the past so it's ok.
Conan: Let's get to a big feud happening with one of your label mates, the Cher Lloyd/Selena Gomez feud! What do you think of it?
Bruno: Well i think BOTH should calm down. Maybe Cher should control herself more, and Selena should NOT comment about that feud anymore because it's really makes her seem like she is desperate for attention by talking a feud which just suddenly stopped. Cher controlled herself more and replied to the Selena comment better then she did before on twitter. I also think Justin Bieber shouldn't join the feud. It's just getting ridiculous.
Conan: Let us now just show you pictures of a few people and you should give a comment on them, ok?

Bruno: Really Good performer, makes hilarious titles!

Hey Kelly. First of all, congrats on the release of your new album, we love it. How this album came to life ?
Thank you, I'm glad that you love it. I love it too. To be honest with you, this album came by itself. I wanted to explore different side of myself, when I started the project, it was supposed to be a Pop-Folk album with some Country influences, and I wanted it to be name Whiskey Girl. But the more I worked and wrote on it, the more Whiskey Girl changed into Breathless. That's why the 2 first singles I release are not on the standard edition of the album. They just didn't fit in the concept of the album. But the Whiskey Girl project is not cancel just postponed.
You said earlier that it's the first album, that you wrote entirely on it. How was this experience ?
Writing is not a new thing for me. But I am at the point where writing and talk about my personal experiences is easier than before. And that album may not sound very different musically, but the lyrics are more mature and more personal than earlier.
It does sound really personal. I have to say that some songs and some collaborations are really surprising. How did you get Steven Tyler on your album ?
I know him for years. Know it's a strong word we are not friends. But I met him several times, and when I was recording the demo of Before The Goodbyes which is a track co-written by Ryan Tedder & I, he was literally on the studio next to us, working. He asked us to play that song to him, he loved it and Ryan who was supposed to be my partner on the duet asked him, if he wanted to do the song. Next thing, he's on the track, and he's co-producing it with Max Martin. I was also really happy to sing on a Dave Grohl production, I mean come on he's a legend. He was on Nirvana.
What will be the next single ?
At this point, I don't know yet. I want this album and era be totally dedicated to the fans. We have many possibilities for the next single. I want a mid-tempo or a ballad next.
Please be Saving Me, It's my favourite tracks of the album.
Is it ? What was your least favourite ?
I love Saving Me cause I can relate to it, I don't have least favourite yet. Rumours has it, that a tour is planned with only small venues.
The rumours is true. I want to create an atmosphere and be really close to my fans. I want to tell a story, I don't want to be lost in a big arena when I have that many personal songs.
I heard that you will have your Unplugged soon, are you exciting ?
It's a big opportunity, We are reworking on my songs and I also want to give a tribute to artists and songs that I love.
Ok. It's almost the end. Kelly since you've been around for quite long, what advice would you give to the new generation ?
Stay true to yourself. Respect your peers and the ones who paved the way for you. Keep your problems/feuds or any negative attitude to yourself or private.

Proposal for CAL Grammys or whatever for when you decide to do one: Have all the regular categories (Album of the Year, Song, Record etc.) and then have all of us vote on them. The only limitation would be that we couldn't vote for ourselves.
