* For technical purposes I didn't include MANY Rap songs that had R&B hooks since it's not technically an R&B song. Poetic Justice, Crew Love, Lotus Flower Bomb, etc are examples.
I drag Gaga all the time but it's pretty impressive that The Fame/The Fame Monster sold 15 million worldwide. So many other stars since have tried the same album + 8 track EP re-release a few months later strategy and none have come close. Ke$ha, Usher, Lana, they all sold a fraction.
