-"Thirteen" - A country-arena rock power ballad. Think State of Grace and Long Live's love child. Begins with a light harmonica intro, Complete with a psychedelic infused guitar solo drenched in distortion right before a powerful bridge. Hook said to go
"After that night it seems, All I see is Thirteen"
Speaks about how lucky she is to be where she is. How seeing 13 every where is a good sign. A love song to the fans and her band after her experience touring and keeping those memories forever.
-"Dumb Blonde"- A punk rock powerful uptempo. One of the "harder" sounding song. Subject wise is about her media-scurinty, inaccuracy of her public image, and the general misogyny she deals with on a daily basis. Apparently she "just goes off". Seems partially linked to that magazine quote where she said something along the lines of " a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way - that's taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist."
-"Lover Lover"- A pleading power ballad which begins as a sort of soft- pro-grass ballad and swells into a passionate, devastating arena rock song. Speaks of a long lost lover who you frequently denied their attempts at building a bridge, only to realize that once they give up and are truly gone, they are all that you can think about.
