Katy ****ing deserved that Grammy and I'm pissed. I don't even like her that much but she actually delivered a quality record that displayed growth, maturity and handled some tough themes with dignity - **** you Grammy committee.

Yeah she's definitely GRAMMY worthy, that's not the problem. The problem is the people. That's the problem when YOUR fate is in the hands of a select few individuals. Katy's already proven so much, she doesn't need a Grammy to prove her worth. But it sure would be nice, as that's really one of the only things left for her to achieve.

I don't understand why people but so much weight on the Grammys though. Like they're undeniably a massive achievement but they're hardly the crowning jewels of achievements in the music industry. So many Grammys ares given out every year, nobody gets 5 #1's from one album or 2 800M+ viewed videos. Not to mention the Super Bowl.

It's actually a massive amount of people who can vote. Anyone who has credits of any kind on at least 6 commercially released songs can become a voting member of The Academy.

Katy probably votes every year.

It took Madonna 15 years to win a Grammy for actual music, it's irrelevant to memorability.

Loved her performance last night, it was beautiful.

While I'm sad she didn't win for Dark Horse, I doubt she cried herself to sleep over it. She just done The Super Bowl, she gathered 5 #1's from one album, she's on track for (or already has?) the highest grossing female tour of 2014, PRISM gathered 2 more #1's...

Wonder what the next era will bring.

Of course she did. Juicy J was livid after those two fads snatched the award. Anyway, I hope the lesson's learned and she stops caring about them because god forbid if she tries to show artistry on her next record full of bland trash like Love Me or BTGOG.
