The Grammy's haven't been the same these past couple years. Like I knew they were starting to lose their credibility when Nicki Minaj was nominated along with Rihanna for ALBUM OF THE YEAR.
And ofc it was Adele's year but I don't think she deserved to win every award that she was up against but since ya know she was slaying the radio, it just became even harder for the Grammy attendees NOT to vote her to win.
Basically what I'm saying is, you have to be relevant now days to get a Grammy, regardless of talent.
However, the Grammy's WILL do the whole random winner of no one knowing who they are deal every now & then (2011 Grammy's Best New Artist)

The only chance it has is at the pop vocal award, and kelly's stronger, rih's WHYB, and a live performance from SFTTR are pretty much garunteed locks, as long as other future pop smashes and another nom for a norah jones artist. I honestly believe she will be the new judge. The same hype isn't around Avril and Miley. I think they are hyping up Demi for a reason.
They just used their names to create a hype on who will be the next judge, and hyping the identity of the next judge will boost the hype for Demi (which may not be positive but it is publicity anyway) because her name will float with theirs
