Unapologetic is #8 on the midweeks ... :/

I think it's pretty low, with two single in the top 10 iTunes.

Anyway, i think it's the album cover who's doing a lot of damage here ... It's far from being a good christmas presents, the LOUD cover was colorful and extremely classy, the TTT one was also very clean and pretty (deluxe edition).

I love the Unapologetic cover, it's my fav from her ! but i have to admit it's very freaky and weird.
The good thing here is the album will most likely explode during January and profit from others big drops. It's a perfect post-christmas album.

Exactly. Her choice of album cover was the dumbest decision her and label has made. And then their single choices are not representative of the cover so it makes no sense.

Who said it will not do decent ? we're only saying that a christmas present with a naked woman on it will not sell at christmas time, she will not benefit much from it ... It's pretty obvious.

I think you're wrong, the cover is perfect the way it is. Who can pull off that cover honestly ? No one. + it's obvious the label has nothing to do with the cover, it's her and friends only.
She's the only one in the music industry who can pull it off and that's what really impressive about her persona, she's unique.

No actual pop girls can do it without having the blacklash of the century and poor album sales, even madonna never propose a cover with this level of trashiness.

It's urban, but it would cross over, since pop radio love Eminem, and it's quite poppy as well (i.e. strong prominent melody, very catchy, lots of synths, etc.).

Do you see the "listen" sign next Loveeeee Song, well I think that indicates if the song is a single or not. I mean it's in every station having the song, while songs like PIU and NB have not it (even other songs not Rihanna's).

The same happened on this rhythmic station. It added Jump, Nobody's Business, Pour It Up and Lov7 Song, but only the last one has that sign.

I noticed this aswell while request the other day. I believe that IDJ is sending all her single to radio at once and let radio decide which one they will play. Tbh it is the best idea to have a variety of music outgo sell the album.The same thing she did during LOUD era.

Whem everyone has already heard the song and its peaked it is not going to make a drastic effect. If she had performed stay or loveeee song it wouldve shot up itunes fast

I agree. Though it was a good performance, I kind of wish she would have used the exposure time
to perform Stay.

However, I get that they're probably wanting to wait until the new year to kick off another single.

Hopefully she'll find some good promo in Jan for that.
