I think it's safe to say she's now earned her name and there's no going back. She's entered into legend/icon status. People may not believe it because she's still working but with being in one of the most successful groups of all time, and then having one of the most successful and iconic solo careers of all time, marrying and having a kid with one of the most successful rappers of all time, it's safe to say she's become Diana Ross status at the least. She's a standard. People may not like her music or have whatever other criticism for her, much like Diana Ross. But that doesn't mean that Beyonce is not Beyonce and Diana is not Diana. Once you've earned your spot you've got it.
Also I think the Super Bowl really cemented her legendary status. They don't give those gigs out to anybody. The one prior was Madonna after all. You don't get just anyone to follow Madonna.
Jay-Z is reportedly throwing Beyonce a party in Monaco this weekend.
The 31-year-old singer is currently in the midst of her "Mrs. Carter Show" tour and her devoted husband - with whom she has 16-month-old daughter Blue Ivy - is planning a lavish bash to coincide with the French Riviera's Formula One Grand Prix as a celebration of his wife's hard work, inviting along various celebrity friends who are visiting to join in the fun.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Jay's having a gold and black-themed do for celebrity pals such as Lewis Hamilton, Nicole Scherzinger, Gwyneth Paltrow and Naomi Campbell, who will be in town for the Grand Prix.''

I think she surpass Diana Ross status, there really hasn't been a black female artist like Beyonce. She's so successful in music, films, and other avenues. Her brand is on another level.
