Honesty I think this song can be considered a hit. Not a huge one but a hit, at least in the U.S. It was pretty popular in pop culture and made somewhat of an impact on the charts.
It will be interesting to see the next single and how it does. It's time to announce it soon.

I like Demi, but frankly this era has been embarrassing for her. "Cool For The Summer" peaked @ #11 briefly and she's getting outperformed by her competition, Selena Gomez, easily.
What their doing with "Confident" is even more humiliating. I've never seen a song get discounted to red updates on iTunes before. Stop trying to make it happen. It's not going to happen.
Someone made a shady comment about her having a "hooker GTA" era, but maybe they're right. This sound and look doesn't work for her and frankly, she needs to stop trying so hard.
I'm still rootin' for you to figure it out, Demi!
