Host commentary - This song is a really creative moment. I think it needed refined a bit and the vocals don’t really sound like her in parts of the song (which is why I don’t completely use it). That doesn’t change that it is a highlight of MDNA and a fun song, not to mention a fantastic tour performance. It would have done nothing as a single, but I still wish it got a music video. I mainly appreciate it for trying something different, since MDNA was a lot of retreads of past work.

Subomie - Awful. The cringeworthy lyrics, poor production, the lame breakdown... I'm not seeing any redeeming qualities.
Host commentary - Y’all know that I hate American Life (although every AL song left including this one got an 8 or 9 from me), but I really do love this song. Just the message of how love can bring people together in hard times is so sweet. If American Life had focused on the more personal songs like this and moved away from the glitchy production and rapping in other songs, I might love it.

Pandora - Between this and X-Static Process I don’t know which my favourite from the album is. I feel like this is one of the most beautiful songs she’s ever written.

mrmikefern - Beautiful song with simple, original lyrics and melodies. I like the sad little girl side of Madonna, not the pretentious teen girl side of I'm So Unlistenable. This song and X-Static Goddess should have been singles with Nothing Fails.
