Have any of y'all ever ordered a custom vinyl?
I'm seriously considering getting Amethyst pressed since it's my one of my fave releases of all time and it has like 0 hope of a pressing.

I looked into it and it's gonna cost like £85 for a 12" heavyweight pressing
I also don't know anything about sound quality and stuff so if someone knows anything about that i'd appreciate your advice. I have the ALAC CD rip and it ranges from 702kbps to 900kbps, presumably that's the highest quality it exists in.
Will that be good enough quality or will it sound like ****?

It'll sound like **** for sure. CD rips are not meant to go on vinyl.

I wouldn't necessarily say that CD rips sound **** on vinyl. Don't vinyl-digital do all of their vinyl from mp3 rips? They released a Lana unreleased vinyl and most of those aren't even available in anything higher than 128kbps

I've been contemplating it for Leighton Meester's Heartstrings but doubt I'll ever go for it. Sound quality can differ but of course get the highest quality possible. Who are you potentially going with for it?

I'd probably suggest getting the sleeve printed elsewhere, just to cut down on price. There's actually a few tutorials online for doing one yourself. I've been meaning to do it for my 7" promos.

BANKS - The Altar, Limited Red Edition
Bjork - Debut, Post, and Homogenic, colored limited editions
Vince Staples - Prima Donna (signed)
Bastille - Wild World (UO holographic Edition) I don't really recommend it, its just a holographic sheet poorly glued on the cover, I should have gotten the colored edition from Amazon.
