It is. We know Michael gave it to her. It's not the main reason why the video is remembered, though, and other people did the choreography.

Now this is also a ripoff. How can you, two years later, release a video in an urban setting, screaming, brewking things, dancing, and saying you're expressing anger for the injustice in the world? at least Janet's ripoff was acknowledged. Michael was a bigger diva than Mariah, and, despite TK being his favorite song from her, he'd never confirm the inspiration. Like he didn't confirm he ripped off Bad from Nasty.

Now sis I'm glad you finding some way to make Janet seem superior, but like MJ and Janet say, they both think alike and ideas they've had have been similar.

Do you know how many videos I've seen Janet and Michael do that were similar? Let's not try and make Janet the superior one which herself has also taken things from Michael.

It's not a big deal and Michael's Panther Dance is by far his best work and struck major controversy in 1991.

I loved her for so long
She was my first crush when Pleasure Principle came out I was like 3 (yes I'm a senior member but I'm established owned home, car, a career, 3 degree etc.) and I remember coming home in the afternoons to watch it on some countdown show MTV had in the 80s.

My mother loved her so she'd always be played in the house.


That said, what I love the most about Janet is that she TRULY reinvented herself and didn't let controversy lead the way.

Her sound, image and evolution each era seemed organic and clever.

I really plan to support her new era because I know she will bring it.
