I didn't have to go thru this mess with OG. I woke up and the song was already out. "On air with Ryan Seacrest...world premiere. La la la la." I'll never forget.

I know! I woke up just a tad early so I could hear the song comprehensively. It was so beautiful, the moment.

I kind of hated the song for the first few weeks it was out, though. Especially that first listen. But I was confused by it even more.

This so much. I remember sitting there listening to the song w/ the Ryan Seacrest premiere. I was so confused by the song because of the change of pitch in her voice (Like I'm the only one that you'll ever love) in the chorus, but I now realize how insanely good it is.

WMN is just more effortless. It just has this easy and carefree vibe to it and is easier to love in my mind. It might be my fave of hers, and was in my top 10 faves of last year. Imo, OG is sort of basic in a dance-pop way. It may have been one of the best of the heap, but it didn't exactly bring anything new/interesting

I remember the morning/day it premiered so well. I only heard the snippet with the first chorus before school & I had it stuck in my head all day. Then I heard the full thing when I got home.

The verses are what make the song for me. Imagine how excited I was to hear the excellent verses for the first time. They contrast appropriately from the chorus.

I hated it too. I was expecting some R&B song so it really shocked me. I was so disappointed.
