Welp Since the Legend Katherine is dead so is this show.

Elena is one of the most annoying characters EVER

I am still fuming, so of ALL the evil characters that have passed on this show, KATHERINE is the first one to go to hell?

I AM LIVID, that fat **** only wanted a reason to get rid of her for good, she knew Katherine was becoming the most popular character of the show and she wanted the focus back on woe-is-me Elena and the psychopath brooding man pain of Damon.

No, while I'm pissed that she's dead, I'm not nearly as pissed as I would have been had she just fallen over and died of old age like that. She deserved a decent, Katherine-like sendoff of being killed by her nemeses after screwing them over. I can deal with her death happening this way, I'd have stopped watching had she just been dead when they came back from hiatus.

I don't know. Katherine has always been selfish. Shades of grey or not, she's consistently always threw Elena and her friends under the bus, so I'm not surprised she got the "hell' treatment. You reap what you sow.

At least the more evil characters like Alaric's alterego, Klaus (season 2 and 3) etc were straight up obvious. That and they didn't backstab nearly as often as Katherine.

But this season is easily the worst regardless of the fact that I'm happy Katherine's out of the picture. There's no real plot to this one. This Ripper virus is like a sub-plot that is being dragged out for sake of it.

How are y'all sure she's the first to go to "hell", Bonnie has only been the anchor for a short time many before her time could have gone straight to "hell"

You guys have latched on to Katherine so hard, she was a good character but didn't make or break the show. The thing thats off about the show atm is the time they spend on the love triangle and the lack of a clear storyline. Next season needs to be the last before they truly run out of ideas and make the show unbearable.

She was an integral part of the story but at this point she was expendable.

Well tbh that expendable character was the most interesting of them all.

The only thing that can make me watch this show again is if they bring "No emotions Elena" back. Which honestly i can see it happening with her new "condition". And even if they did she won't be as amazing as Katherine.

I hope at the end Damon and Stefan both end up alone like they were before. But i guess another 100 years will pass and they'll find a new Elena doppelganger.

I think Elena will die too at the end of the show. In the books both her and Kat die in the fight and i'm done with her so she better leaves for good this time and i hope there will be no Bonnie to bring her back like they did to Jeremy.

Ugh, thank God for The Originals. I'm sure we have one more season before Plec ****s that up too though.

Finally watched the episode, and omg what the actual ****

Haven't you guys learned by now? Do you really think Katherine is gone for good?

They'll pull some stunt to bring her back, trust me. That force that pulled her, I don't believe in second that it actually dragged her to hell or whatever, it's probably something totally different.

I join the TO praise, the show has been great and consistent since they started, TVD is falling apart. I pray for S6 to be the last season too.

The producer of the show confirmed that she's gone for good. The reason she was dragged t hell was so there would be absolutely no way of her coming back.

I didn't know that, it's for the best though. I have been sick of E/K and K impersonating E since like season 3.

The thing is, there's still potential left in the show, if only they focus less on Elena and her love issues with the Salvatores.
