So were those sales just album sales...because Rihanna isn't listed and we know most of her sales are from singles.
So records sold Britney would be 5 but album sales WW she'd be 6. Not bad
5. Madonna – 198.000.000
8. Celine Dion – 167.450.000
12. Mariah Carey – 153.700.000
14. Barba Streisand – 142.000.000
16. Whitney Houston – 139.000.000
39. Dire Straits – 89.000.000
40. The Doors – 88.000.000

So, these are dated but let's say the truth isn't far off from this. The only artist that will continue to sell is Eminem.
the others will sell little gh units but Britney has the chance to hit top 40 after her remaining 4 albums.
I think 82.8+ sold and 100M shipped can turn to 90M sold 115M shipped.
Record sales wise I wonder how close Britney is to #4...she's #5 but Rihanna will most likely surpass her soon.

They also used double-sales for Pink Floyd on that list. The Wall is 23x Platinum but it's only actually shipped 11.5M units in the U.S. The only country where they've outsold Led Zeppelin is Australia.
Led Zeppelin has also sold more albums than The Rolling Stones and Celine Dion.

Would be nice to know how much BOMT, OIDIA, ITZ, and GH:MP sold. The certifications on Britney.com are a mess. They have Britney at Gold there when it was certified Platinum 13 years ago.
