Inflated to 1999 numbers, DIL is still <20 million WW
Inflated to 2000 numbers, B'Day is still ~13-15 million WW
Inflated to 2001 numbers, IA...SF is ~16-18 million WW, which would beat "Britney"
Inflated to 2003 numbers, 4 is still ~6-7 million WW, which would still lose to "ITZ"
Beyonce would lose, even if she had released those albums in the same year as Britney. And she's still be down a good 5-10 million in album sales.
Not to mention that Beyonce benefited from coming out solo AFTER the Britney hysteria had died down. If she had come out in 1999, she would have no doubt been pitted against Britney as all pop girls did back then.
