I don't think Loud is a 'masterpiece' like Rated R or Good Girl Gone Bad but to me it's her third best album and I rated it an 8.1 or something overall in the Rihanna rate. I think Raining Men is the 4th best song on Loud, with Man Down, Only Girl, and S&M being Loud's trinity.
Overall I rated TTT a 7.8, above the 7.5 I gave both 'mixtapes'. The reason I say TTT is a subpar album is because Rihanna had the oppurtunity to make something great, but she didn't (IMO). Music of the Sun, A Girl Like Me, and Loud were all managed heavily by Def Jam. Rihanna was obviously in control of TTT, and the result we got was unfinished/underproduced songs, and rehashes of songs we all know and love. I know time wasn't on Rihanna's side, but that's her fault for wanting a new album instead of the re-release that was originally planned. That's what makes TTT the biggest disappointment (album wise) in Rihanna's discography.
