It's okay to enjoy something dated if you have the idea of when it came out in your mind - I mean otherwise we wouldn't really enjoy things like "Vogue" by Madonna considering how far production techniques have come, you know?

Koda's music tends to age horribly but I guess that's not the word I'm looking for is it? What I mean to say is that it gets stale and loses its appeal quickly, like the breadsticks at Olive Garden or Uncontrolled

All of the divas eariler albums have aged horribly and that includes Utada's take on US R&B on her first two albums.

& GORL them breadsticks never get OLD

Different strokes. I mean I'll agree flat out that she has plenty of songs that won't sound good after much time has passed (V.I.P. in a few years? I mean if we could already literally identify the pre-packed garage band sample it used when it came out, I'd hate to see what we'd think of it in 2015)

but to me there's some things that are just very much great pop songs of their moment, that once time passes, I look back on as great pop songs of a moment passed.

I mean at least it provided new songs for tour, kept her legacy going, kept her relevant, etc.

First Love aged a lot, Distance not so much. But it's not a bad kind of aging; it's like a fine wine
