You seem pressed. And even if it doesn't go Top 40, it still peaked higher, hell actually CHARTED on the Hot 100 unlike the singles from your fave's last era. I mean why else did you come in here?
Instead of being bitter, just enjoy the song and be happy.
I think she's going to debut at number two or three there. Cheerleader and See You Again are going to clobber her in streaming that week. All things depending she could do better in the weeks after; the competish is pretty weak in the weeks following.
But whether it's number one or number three or whatever, it's still very good.
11th most played track in UK, more than Cheerleader, so I hope it doesn't get blocked.
Her problem is streaming. Her label is presumably going to wait until it gets released to make it available on Spotify and other services but streaming gains a lot more slowly than sales and usually peaks weeks after a song's release. So she might end up selling more than Wiz and Omi but streaming will end up costing her that number one. Same thing happened to Nick Jonas.

Dang I can't believe M.O are A-list. Slay queens.
Still though, this shouldn't matter too much. Especially if it gets into the top 3 or 2 they'll A-list it for sure. The only thing that would be a disaster would be if this weren't playlisted at all, but luckily other UK stations are playing it so we've got that as a safety net.
