I've rarely ever had it miss. Maybe while I was paralyzed idk or something, yeah, but rarely just outright miss

If it's possible to transfer pokemon from previous games early in the story I'm starting with Chespin too, since I'm planning on transfering a Squirtle and using the event Torchic. Otherwise, I'm gonna start with Froakie.
Either way none of the starters will be part of my final team though
