GL > AL though. At least that album had some concept even though it got interrupted by "What the Hell" and "Smile" which were the first 2 singles. I mean whose idea was to promote a personal/sad/acoustic album with 2 cheerful Max Martin singles?
No wonder it flopped.
AL on the other hand was just a random mixture of songs that didn't make sense together at all, with most of them being basic summer songs, auto-tuned Cher lloyd rejects or ballads (which were the highligths with the exception of Falling Fast which is basic).
But if she really released in 2009 her career would probably be more alive now. The TBDT -> GL drought killed like 95% of her fanbase.
