Didn't G&G fail on their attempt to push it to alt?
It was actually doing really well on Alternative until they replaced G&G on pop/HAC with Tennis Court. Only then did it start slowing down because Alternative stations started playing Tennis Court instead of G&G because they felt it would be the bigger hit of the two overall.
Why didn't Tennis Court do well on radio? Its callout scores were pretty good, right?! I'm confused...
Callout scores aren't an extremely accurate predictor of song performance. I for one think TC did badly because of the G&G/TC saga which sapped the momentum from the era, and because so many people had already burned out TC (in was in the top 40 of Spotify for WEEKS on end during Team's run).
they must be re weighing the AI. Hence why spins are still normal but a decrease in AI. No song gaining over 200+ spins would be getting a negative AI update, in normal circumstances.
