A promo is still a promo. And Scammys is the most prestigious. So it gives the illusion to the outsider-looking-in (aka ppl who are not really into music) that those nominated are all highly acclaimed artists. She only needs to have a performance slot. No **** given for the sippy cup.
Acclaim and respect are the key points to longevity. And She wants that longevity thing REAL bad.
And She lost simply because the other noms were more visible to voters, while She was more known for negative exposures. I'd like to note that Scammys, as bad as it is, is far better than Oscars in the variety of the voters.

I see pessimism is over. BTW my team won a tough game and is leader by ten points. So my mood is high tonight.
