I'm her biggest cheerleader for not chasing the radio hit. If it comes to her, amazing. If not, great because she's obviously not making that her goal.
I actually respect an artist less if they put out some dated drizzle that is so transparent about their desire for chart success. And to those who may not go that far but still feel the need to lower their standards to "fit in", I just feel sorry. So I'm glad that now I can respect her as an artist, and am happy that she seems to be doing whateva she wants.
I'm not going to get my hopes up.
