I guess it would be unfair to make such a celebratory post without mentioning the reason I am here. Lady Gaga means more to me than I can express using words. Even before I told people on ATRL about my sexuality, I feel like I had already connected with it with her music. In 2011, she gave me music that has meant more to me than anything else. Marry The Night became my favourite song of all time, because regardless of how I am feeling, I know I will have an amazing night if I listen to that song. Judas helped me get over someone I liked for far too long. Hair became the song that told me that being who I am was enough to be able to accept myself. I can’t say enough how much she means to me, and yet I have never and probably will never meet her in my life. I wish more than anything that she could know what she has done for me, but just knowing that she accepts and loves me as a fan is enough.
I sort of think I should finish up this post at some point, as I guess it has gotten to be a bit long. Well guys, this is post #15,000. I am so glad that I am here to celebrate it with you, and also in this thread. I hope I will still know all of you in a year, and perhaps even further into the future.
