Many progressive leaders - Baldwin, Franken, Brown - by ideological bearings should have been considered Team Sanders, but they all endorsed Hillary and did so very early. I'd imagine Warren was probably on the same ship, but wanted to leverage some pressure on Hillary to formulate the party platform and also serve the role as 'peacemaker' to unite the party.
