I'm sorry, but I don't see it at all. Yes you are technically living on the Asian continent, but real Asians have pretty much nothing to do with Middle East or the region around it. If you think about it people from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan etc are pretty much Asian, also looks wise. But the Soviet culture left its mark on their culture so I don't really consider them Asian. It is about which culture/civilization shaped your life/culture and not about look, location etc.

But Asian and middle eastern civilizations worked together for centuries sis. it's not just because in our modern times both are separated culturally and economically that we should forget about the history between both.

I mean the Silk Road alone shaped and changed the region forever.
Also Genghis Khan's impact in the middle east is something you cannot deny. I mean in Turkey about 50% of you guys have Mongolian DNA because of him. (i don't remember the exact percentage lol but i remember it was really high...he was one dirty boy ).
Also Baghdad was the center of knowledge and asians scholars and intellects lived there and exchanged knowledge for hundreds of years.

You guys really are more related and similar then you may think and both cultures truly have benefited from each other even before globalization.

Yes, I know that Turks are actually from Mongolia and/or the region around China. You can still see that people from Turkic countries between Azerbaijan and China actually look Asian. But my point is these people were assimilated by Soviets so I really don't see much connection with Asians anymore and no shared DNA doesn't change anything.

Pretty sure South Koreans like Turks though Maybe new generations are not really aware of this, but both countries have a connection because Turks fought agains N. Korea in Korean War.

Kazakhs have a language that is very similar to Turkish but is written with Kyrill alphabet. This was obviously part of the assimilation plan by Soviets. I once met a girl in Survival Japanese class from Kazakhstan she could speak her language and Russian fluently like most people in ex Soviet countries. At the end of the day all Turkic people from Central Asia have facial characters similar to Asian people but they share very little cultural similarities because of this assimilation politics.
