Glee is the new The O.C. for Fox - audience ratings speaking, OBVIOUSLY. I'm sure next season is gonna tumble to less than 8 million and so on, and I can't wait for it.

Yeah I agree with you, unfortunately. I'm assuming most of the characters are seniors in high school so they really can't stay seniors forever. Season 2 will probably bring in high ratings, but after that I don't see it staying afloat much longer and we all see how an all-new cast has done for "Scrubs" so I don't think that option would help either.

Aren't all the actors/actresses graduated from high school? Well, they obviously can't play high school students for long. They're going to have to be replaced eventually. I don't see Glee lasting longer than three seasons with consistent ratings.

I agree, though I'd liken it to Ugly Betty. High ratings, lots of accolades and hype in its first season then a general lack of interest as the show goes on.

Its ratings aren't bad but its 18-49 demo isn't so hot, it's behind Gary in that area. I hope you're right though. Hopefully they'll at least pick it up for midseason so the show can have a real ending.

I get your point. But I linked it more to O.C. because it's a "teen" show and it's on Fox... Not to mention the actors are hyped as hell right now, especially in the music scene. The O.C. was also huge due to its soundtracks, and the actors and the show itself even had MTV specials!
