Maiko, I love you sis, but the Pointless warning category is literally the most pointless, unevenly enforced, restrictive move that can possibly be made. If they ever bring it back, I will legitimately leave ATRL. And we both know that I have no problem making very pointed posts, so it's not a case of me just wanting to be able to post useless crap.

Also, I was talking to Athens yesterday and he said that him and the creative team have been working vigorously on this update. There is a lot of action going on behind the scenes with the update as we speak I don't think the window between IPS going live and ATRL Beta Testing will be a very long one!

Like I've said in the past, although all this waiting may be a bit aggravating, the fact that they are making sure everything is perfect before an official release is actually quite a blessing. No one likes having a glitched site and waiting for patches! Imagine how pissed you guys would be if there was a fatal bug and you couldn't even use ATRL. True indeed, but I don't need to be knocked for Pointless the one time that all I can respond with is an emoticon of some sort. Sometimes, there's nothing to say but ":clap3" before you move on, and there are other similar situations. Under pointless, that method of congratulating an artist - or responding to a situation if it's a different situation and emoticon - are deemed illegitimate and insufficient, and I don't support that. My first warning ever, and one of the only ones I've ever gotten, was over the Pointless category for the very brief time that it was a thing, so you can imagine where my frustrations originate.

He's told you everything you need to know, though. There's nothing more to update you guys on and we all made it very clear that everything at this point is dependent upon IPS and their progress toward a release.

Well yes, but only externally. No internal milestones are really out there to be reached until we have a final release, so it's only kinda exciting.

I agree that it's nice to have :clap3: and :ahh: etc. responses to show appreciation, but I wonder if a like/dislike or an up-vote/down-vote feature could replace that? I know a lot of users have been against that in the past, but just liking a post would eliminate the need to clog half a thread with responses to "the hilarious first post!!!!!!!!"
