Just dropped to #19... I don't think Home and Away is giving it a positive boost anymore if anything it's making people not like her / her song. I think they should stop showing the ad as much / altogether next week and just focus on radio or this week will definitely be her peak.

Yeah, the song is done unless something unexpected happens. Home and Away was the only thing keeping it afloat and the H&A stans are hating Sammi, radio isn't playing it that much and her fan base isn't really that big.

It peaked at #4 which is great for her and hopefully we'll still get a third single.

Two of the radio stations I requested Always on wrote back to me and said they loved the song and added it to their playlists. I also got it played on my local station. Small steps, but it's something. #16 on tonight's HIT30 too, it's better than last night at any rate. Crossed 200k on YouTube and 180k on Spotify. So there's lots to be happy about.

iTunes is obviously disappointing as it keeps dropping place by place but at least it seems to be doing it slowly and isn't really free-falling (at least not yet). It's still in a better position than it was two weeks ago.

Sad to say it's over for Sammi unless another miracle happens.

Vote for her on Twitter using the hashtag #hit30 and tweet "Samantha Jade - Always". You can vote anytime you want and as many times as you want (you can pretty do 100 tweets in 20 mins on average, just make each tweet a little different).

Basically, all those votes get counted towards a nightly countdown that runs in Australia everyone weeknight at 7pm. The countdown is called @thehit30 (you can find them on Twitter). If the votes are high enough, the song literally gets played across the entire country at night which would obviously benefit her on the charts

It's so ridiculous. I personally know people who dislike her and it's for the pettiest of reasons. Basically jealousy because she's talented + beautiful. Ugh.

!!! Tall Poppy is rife in Australia, it's sickening. Same with Sia. NOBODY cared about Sia and she was making albums for years, the second she makes it huge WW every mention of her is "Australia's Sia...", "Our own Sia..." on the news, on the radio, etc. The same with Iggy Azalea (while Fancy/Black Widow were smashing). Like, they don't claim Australia. Mess.

At least Delta was able to use The Voice to get another #1 hit. Samantha hasn't had a #1 since she won X Factor.

The problem is, it's already been summer in Australia. If she releases a summer single to appeal to the UK/US market (unlikely, Sony AU hardly ever try to aim for WW success) it'll be winter here.
