Britney hasn't pushed many boundaries, and I think it's too early to call for GaGa. For all we know, she could end up being like Cyndi Lauper, or maybe Madonna. We don't know.

I didn't say she is groundbreaking.

Her influence is obvious though. Every teen pop star was molded after her, and every new label-backed pop **** was supposed to be the new Britney for years. Just like people are supposed to be the new Madonna, and now the new GaGa, or the new Beyonce. And Britney's impact is not as much about her influence, as it is about Britney herself. Her brand is all-encompassing and completely international. She is one of the 5 most famous people in the world, maybe THE most famous next to MJ. That is something in itself.

Almost EVERY Female Popstar that came out from the Late 90s to about 2005 was modeling themselves after her She REVOLUTIONIZED the Teen-Pop scene for females when she broke out and she has influenced a hoard of the gorls today. Lady Gaga even said she was influenced or Looked up to her or some **** Let's not choose to be ignorant for the sake of trying to make Beyonce appear better.

This is definitely debatable. Even if this were true, a lot of her popularity came from controversy, not the music or her talent. And I wouldn't say she "influenced" the artists of today; I think the labels are using her success and that of other teen idols as a template for the success of their own artist. That doesn't mean she is influential.

That's true. She has always been more shy and acts all shocked when other people are surprised by how sexy her songs are. I wish she would drop that act. Her cuteness is not an act, but she does sort of act prude sometimes, and she makes a lot more sense (connecting the sexy persona to the cute) when she just lets go and is herself.

But she is still iconic for being the best female dancer, for being unnervingly nice, for being beautiful and for being an undercover freak.
