Don't Stop the Music has drawn inspiration from the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Rihanna samples MJ's pop smash "Wanna Be Startin' Something" to really get the party started. The cover art I made is very simplistic. My goal was to make it look like something very pop influenced, drawing inspiration from past idols.

"Sweet Dreams", the adventurous dark electropop masterpiece, inspired by Michael Jackson's "Beat It" baseline, especially during the gnarly ending part, is build on an irresistible hook and deep bass, with a hint of darkness in the slightly disturbed lyrics, rounded by Beyoncé's self-assured icy cool vocals, is a trilling track which with it's genuine spark and undeniable energy wouldn't sound outta place on neither "Thriller" nor "Bad".

Waking Up In Vegas is partly inspired by Elvis Presly. Elvis is one of those people who were way popular back then, and he was one of those people who gave Vegas another meaning, probably.

Dance In The Dark, off of her second album/EP 'The Fame Monster', references many 80's retro vibes. With heart-pounding verses and a breath-taking chorus, DITD feels like a fresh breath of air. Called one of the most single worthy tracks on the record, this track takes it back to the days where Madonna ruled the world with her contriversial image and music, pushing limits and boundaries everywhere she turned. Calling out celebrities infamous for their murders, this track is more than just a catchy beat.

In Japan, BoA's music has always been very influenced by Western artists such as Janet Jackson, Nelly, Madonna, and Michael Jackson. When she released her English album, it was obviously influenced by Western music; in fact, fans called her album "BoA" the little sister of Britney Spears' "Blackout". Her second single from this album, "I Did it for Love (ft. Sean Garrett)" is dark, dance, pop, and influenced by Britney; the song also carries traces of the other Western artists that have influenced her entire discography.
