9.5 Tylerbv: Hear ha roar!
9.5 OreGuy: A highlight of AHS Hotel and the unexpected "likeable" character this season. I grew to like her starting "Room 33", though her story arc with her son is not as important as the others, her character still feels essential to the story specially when she teamed up with Liz.
9.2 C/H/A/N/E/L: Ugh. God, I just love Iris. All season, everything she did was fantastic, whether it be her heart-felt moments with Donovan, her suicide attempt, her pain while transforming into a vampire, her angsty voiceovers about how fed up she was with **** going on in the hotel, or her ridiculousness that made me laugh out loud (her tribute video, her having a cleaver and gun ready to kill the kids, her talking about anal bleaching), she was my favorite character from the start (only usurped by Liz by the end). After two seasons of me not caring for Kathy's characters except for her phenomenal acting, Iris actually felt like someone I could watch and love. Like I've already said, my only quarrels with her were in the finale, because it felt like we lost her without a proper resolve, but what we saw of her in the rest of the season made up for it, especially her growth from being trampled on by everyone (including her son) to taking control of her life & killing those two tried to continue to walk over her, to becoming more responsible & trying to look out for herself & the hotel.

8 P!nk Forever: I saw her first in the trailer for Hotel and thought… if there's anyone I won't like in Hotel it's gonna be Iris. And at first I never really liked her, but as soon as Donovan turned her and we see a new side of Iris she became the coolest mom anyone could imagine. I also have to say that compared to Kathy's previous roles Madame Delphine LaLaurie or Ethel I definately felt more sympathy for Iris. LaLaurie was too racist and Ethel was too whiny about everything. While Iris was a real-time mother caring and wanting the best for her son, doing crosswords while leaving hotel guests to die, compiling videos for her fan base and being the best friend to Liz as they constantly pushed each other.

5 Girlicious: Iris gets better as the show goes on. She started as my least-favorite but as the show goes on and on she gets better. I don't really have an opinion on her. She's OK I guess.
Trivia: Did her first ever nude scene at the age of 43 in At Play in the Fields of the Lord (1991). She disrobed again for About Schmidt (2002).
