I think she had to entirely remake it? Didn't she release the demo in the first place because she lost the stems or something?

But that doesn't mean she can't re-create the production when she produced it before.

My point is: I don't think (and I pray) that she didn't change the whole concept of the song and just polished the demo as we know It.

Can the stronger fanbase please help me clarify a couple of doubts please?

Has anyone read that "The Guardian" interview? She seems a little frustrated she's not getting enough creative freedom with her music.

As I understood, she had planned a more pop/commecial album until she got bad feedback from her fanbase. Realiti was supposed to be part of the scrapped pop album right?

Anyways, I've read people got angry when they first heard Go, so if she decided to go with the álbum she originally planned, then fantastic. I love the original Grimes but if she's deciding to evolver her sound, I'm more than excited to hear the new album.

Besides, I loved Go and seeing all the pressed hipsters argue how they don't want for her music to turn into something more commecial is very pleasing.

She gets as much creative freedom as she wants, I don't think she is frustrated over that.

It's been said a million times now but, GO was never a Grimes song. Grimes songs are produced by herself. GO was originally intended for Rihanna, Rihanna turned it down, so Blood Diamonds produced it for Grimes a cute one off single to give something to fans. Go was never indicative of her scrapped album, or the direction she was going with anything. It is what it is and nothing more.

Realiti however WAS from her scrapped 2013-2014 album. Along with David.

The scrapped album was said to be moodier/sadder, and more personal. She scrapped it because she felt it was too depressing to put out, and because during her move to California, she acquired many more talents such as being able to play guitar and violin; so I assume she wanted to try an album featuring these elements.
