I only meant the deluxe edition, but I kind of thought that the standard would have been a jewel case and I knew about the vinyl, the vinyl is gorgeous but I would never use it, the deluxe is enough for me. A Better Word is a beautiful way to end the standard edition and In the Audience is a brilliant ending to the deluxe edition, was A Better Word about him proposing to someone and being rejected?
I love the French edition booklet, he looks so sexy, you don't really see him much in the Global edition booklet, only on the front cover, and one page of the booklet which is disappointing. I'd love to know why the woman is there and if it means anything? I'll be buying the French edition for sure.
In the Audience seems to me to be a breakup song and he's breaking up with his boyfriend/girlfriend who's in the audience at one of his shows, obviously the relationship didn't work out at all as he states "That this whole thing's going south", it definitely makes sense doesn't it?

He originally wrote "Secret" as a breakup song for an ex-girlfriend, but she didn't get it. So he then wrote "In the Audience", and that did the trick.
How could you not get the meaning of "Secret" though, it's not that hard to understand the meaning of it. is it? The fact that he had to write two songs just to break up with her is just weird.
