i laughed at this whole post, especially the bit about respecting one's choice to eat meat

of course not eating meat is respectable - it doesn't involve killing innocent beings. Eating meat means supporting animal abuse, torture AND murder (inb4 someone says killing animals isn't murder because they're not human) no, i do not support your decision.
It's not in our nature to eat animals, if that was the case we wouldn't survive without it.
